March 2004 Grace and peace to you from Colorado Springs. Our second year at Charis Bible College is coming to a close. In November, twenty-five new students joined our first year class and we will be having a second fundraiser to include all our new classmates: the Spring Walkathon. It will be taking place on April 7th at Memorial Park, a gorgeous park near downtown Colorado Springs. All students, as well as faculty, will be participating. We will be walking in small groups and stopping at various points to pray for your needs, as well as the needs of others. All proceeds from the Spring Walkathon go into Charis Bible College and will help to fund our mission trips. During out second year at CBC, all students take a mission trip to help take the gospel to another country. As you know, we (Mark and Virginia) recently went to Ciudad Victoria, Mexico. Interacting with people of another culture was a valuable ministry experience. Even though we have already taken our trip, we join in this fund raiser to help expenses for trips of others as we were helped by funds received last year. God is faithful to bless those who are a blessing to others. In partnering with us at CBC, you will be a blessing to us and to the people to whom I will minister by contributing prayerfully, financially, or both. Your response is greatly appreciated.
